Just getting back from a jog on the river. I have so much to think about lately. This seems like a good view to have while I think.
Of course I forgot my umbrella on the day it poured. LOL Here’s Phil, a fellow MAIPer and Euro Intern, and I on the way to Ogilvy today.
I finally went to Central Park this weekend. It was so beautiful! We stopped by the Imagine memorial. It was too cool.
Oh What a Night!
I saw Jersey Boys tonight! It was so freaking cool! I loved all the music and the characters were so on point. I had so much fun. Here’s some pictures from tonight.

They played so many great songs: Sherry, Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You, Walk Like a Man, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Who Loves You and December 1963 (aka Oh, What A Night!)
Ughhh, I just had so much fun. After, Isidora and I walked through Times Square. It was gorgeous and packed! You’d think it was 5pm on a Friday for how many people that were there (and it was 11:00pm on a Tuesday!) That’s where I saw this:

Jersey Boys was great and next up is…. WICKED! I can’t wait! Going to buy the tickets soon! :)
Gaga and Grey
I trekked to SoHo today on my lunch break to deposit it my check and on my way back to the agency, I got a text from a fellow Euro MAIPer. It said “Lady Gaga is across the street right now. Tons of fans out there.” My response was “Ahhhhh!” LOL. So then I put it into overdrive and hauled butt over to the action. There was so many people outside of this one building and the security guards were yelling at everyone to scoot back. Here’s some pictures of the scene:

Here’s me and Casey. She’s a Euro Intern and she actually sits right next to me.

This was Gaga’s getaway car, a black Yukon.

Even my supervisor, Jess, came out to check out the scene. We waited and waited, then they announced that they escorted Gaga out through the back and to leave the scene. :( Sucks. Then her entourage jumped in the Yukon. Even though we didn’t get to see Gaga, it was still pretty cool that she was so close!
Then we went to a MAIP seminar at Grey. It was AWESOME. Grey is such a cool agency and I even got to speak with the CMO and EVP. Besides from having awesome clients, the actual office space is really cool. This is at the front of their offices.

And here’s the girls bathroom. How cute!

It was a cool day. I’m sleepy and I still have to write a couple emails before bed.
Tomorrow, Isidora and I are going to see Jersey Boys! It’ll be my first Broadway show ever! I’m sooo excited. It’s going to be a huge day tomorrow. Got to rest up. Good night!
Ha! We have to take a picture at work for MAIP so I thought I’d share mine on here. So here’s me repping Claritin at work this morning.
The Empire State Buiding is mind-blowingly tall. This picture does not do it justice but it was very cool to be next to. I want to take a trip to the top soon!
Today, all of the Euro interns got to visit our sister agency, Euro Life. It was very cool to see another Euro agency’s structure and building.
Gosh, these weeks are going by so fast! I apologize for not updating more often. I’m sooo busy here, but I’m loving it! Here’s a summary of this past weekend.
Friday, I was super busy at work (although both of my supervisors were out on vacation). They’re giving me a lot of responsibility and my direct supervisor said I was already taking on all the roles of an AAE. Although it may be a little stressful at times, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love being a part of the team and I’m willing to do anything I can do help out. During my hectic day, I was able to find some time to actually take a lunch break and meet with Thao. I know Thao from UT; he was in a lot of my classes my senior semester. He’s great and he’s working at Saatchi and Saatchi which is right across the street from me. We set out to go to this really yummy and cheap Thai place a couple blocks down but by the time we found it, it was closed. So we hit up this awesome sandwich shop called Grey Dog.

I told him I’d put the picture in my blog! :P
Saturday, I shopped in Soho and had a horrible experience at Sephora. I don’t even want to go into it, but I will say that I got everything worked out and now I’m a new user of BareMinerals! I’m liking it so far! Then Saturday night, I went out with some MAIPers. We ended up in Times Square at 2am (which is not late here) and took pictures by the red stairs. That could be one of my favorite (not to mention, most busy) spots in NYC.
Hahah, here’s me and my friend and fellow MAIPer, Caroline, in Times Square.

And yes, that is a Forever 21 bag. There was a Forever 21 open at 2 o’clock in the morning! So of course, I bought some cheap flats so I could change out my heels. LOL It seemed like a lot of girls had the same idea because the store was packed!
Sunday I woke up and went for a walk. Called my Dad to check in. Mainly I just tried to take it easy and prepare for this week. Here’s one of the views from the Brooklyn Bridge Park. It’s gorgeous.

So far this week has been great. We finally got our internship projects at Euro, so I’m sure I’ll be busy with that. I’m suffering from some really bad allergies or a small summer cold. I’m not sure what it is but it is annoying. I have zero time to get sick here so I’m doing everything I can to prevent illness. I bought a bunch of oranges and some orange juice for Vitamin-C.
I’ll go for now. I’m doing some laundry and I need to go pick it up. Then I’m going to try to hit the hay early tonight. Operative word there was try. Haha, good night people!
